No. The family gathering service is standalone — you can book it without a membership and without having been matched through us. Couples who found each other independently use it as often as couples we introduced.

We propose the venue and you approve it. Our counsellors pick neutral, comfortable places that suit the size of both families and the formality you are after, then confirm timing that works across everyone's schedules before anything is booked.

A counsellor is on call for the whole day, and in most cases attends. Their role is to keep the conversation moving and to step in if a topic becomes difficult — which is common, and rarely a sign that anything has gone wrong.

Yes. A large share of the families we work with are split between Sri Lanka and abroad. We schedule the meeting around a visit home where possible, and handle the preparation calls across time zones in the weeks before.
